Description
Fluke 772 Milliamp Process Clamp Meter
If your job involves maintenance on the PLC and analog I/O control systems used in modern instrumentation or automation, chances are you’re wasting time during test procedures. The blocks in your workflow aren’t your fault — they’re built-in. A process clamp meter like the Fluke 772 Milliamp Process Clamp Meter can save time and money.
The Fluke 772 Milliamp Process Clamp Meter has a very simple selling point — you don’t need to break the loop! Just clamp on the meter and you can verify a loop current in the standard 4–20mA ranges to 0.2% accuracy. The unit automatically calibrates to the current range, and shows values for both the measured current and the corresponding percentage range value on its built-in dual displays.
Older equipment? No problem. The unit has an additional 99.9mA range for measurements 10–50mA. Need to test control system I/O or I/Ps? That’s not a problem, either. The Fluke 772 can deliver loop power at 4–20mA at 24V, or supply a test current either in a linear ramp or in 25% steps.
The 772 builds on Fluke’s long experience in building robust, practical field test equipment. The clamp is detachable, with an integrated cable that makes it easy to take measurements in restricted spaces. There’s also an inbuilt spotlight to illuminate awkward test areas, and automatic power off for times when you don’t have a spare hand.
