Amprobe SM20A Sound Meter
The Amprobe SM20A Sound Meter is a portable sound level meter (type 2) that is made for use by safety engineers, health professionals, industrial safety officers and for use in quality control. It is suitable for use in multiple environments and includes wide measurement range in order to accommodate for this.
This type 2 sound meter features A and C weighting, allowing it to comply with safety regulations and also to be used for acoustic analysis. When using A weighting the measurement range of the SM-20-A is 30-130dB and when using C weighting the measurement range is 35-130dB. The frequency range of this sound meter is 31.5Hz – 8kHz.
The SM-20-A is ideal for use either as a single measurement tool or alternatively can be used over an extended time period by using the tester’s in-built memory to store testing data. This can store up to 14000 records with settable recording intervals from 1 second to 8 hours and the data can also be downloaded to PC in order to interact with data further.
Additional features of the SM-20-A includes slow and fast response settings, MAX/MIN recordings and a data holding function
This product is CE rated and is designed to meet IEC651 type 2 and ANSI S1.4 type 2 standards.
