With the knowledge to repair a vast number of instruments we are able to offer an in-house repair cost instead of just offering the ‘return to manufacturer’ option that some of our competitors offer.
All our engineers are OEM trained and have many years experience in the repair of electrical test meters - All spare parts are sourced from equipment manufacturers wherever possible to ensure more reliable repairs!
We offer a 3 month warranty on all repairs - if the same fault occurs through no fault of your own, we will repair it again free of charge!
That’s why you need to know that the company you to choose to calibrate your instruments is also capable of providing a comprehensive maintenance and repair service.
Our standard service offers a 5 day turnaround on most repairs (pending parts availability). All equipment is fully soak tested before returning back to the customer so you can be sure of not having to return the instrument to us until it’s next calibration is due.
We don’t quote standard repair prices here at The Calibration Centre. You might as well send your instruments to the manufacturer in the first instance otherwise. We quote on the ‘merit’ of the repair and add a labour charge. If only the fuse has gone you will only be charged for a fuse! We aim to build a strong relationship with every one of out customers and believe that if a good honest service is provided you will come back and use us again and again!
We offer detailed quotations explaining what is wrong with your instrument...not just the cost to put it right! All of the work will be detailed on the service log which you will receive with your instrument upon it’s return. This is your personal service record for each piece of instrumentation you own.
